The 2027 Wall Calendar

The 2027 Wall Calendar: My 11th Year of Painting the Seasons

In 2016, I designed, printed, and sold my very first wall calendar. I honestly didn't know how many I'd sell. Ten years later, the 2027 wall calendar is here, and when I stop to think about that, I'm surprised and delighted all over again.

This year's calendar features twelve of my original floral watercolor paintings, one for every month. It's a floral wall calendar at heart: a garden of botanical delights. Each painting started as a quiet morning at my worktable, a brush, and a few flowers I couldn't stop admiring.

A watercolor calendar painted in New England

I was born and raised in Northern Connecticut, and the seasons here live in everything I paint. Snowy Januaries, the first brave crocuses, summer gardens that spill over the fence, and the cozy turn of fall. A calendar of my watercolor art lets me share the cycle of the seasons with you, one page at a time.

A few of my favorite pages this year:

  • September- A coral colored zinnia, which reminds me of my Mom.

  • December- This festive floral bouquet was painted from reference gathered on a trip to France.

  • Cover- This pink Dahlia is bright and bold, perfect for a garden lover.

A gift that lasts all year

A calendar is one of my favorite gifts to give. It gets opened in December and enjoyed every single day after. It's a lovely gift for the garden lover, the artist, the teacher, and anyone who loves a little wall art. It also makes an easy stocking stuffer for Mom.

Pair it with a few of my greeting cards, my gift wrap, or a set of art prints for a gift that feels truly thoughtful:

Discover the artist within

If you've ever looked at a watercolor flower and thought, "I wish I could do that," I want you to know you can. Everyone deserves the chance to explore their creativity. My watercolor art kits come with paint, a brush, paper, step-by-step instructions, and a follow-along video, so you can paint right alongside me. Or join me in person at one of my classes.

Save it for later on Pinterest

I've gathered the whole calendar, my favorite pages, and gift ideas on Pinterest. Pin your favorites, share them with a friend who'd love them, or save them for your holiday list.

Thank you for eleven years of hanging my art on your walls. It means more to me than I can say.

With love and a full paint palette, Melissa
