“I find watercolor to be magical and working with the softness and fluidity of this medium reminds me of the beach waves near my home. The beach is a huge influence in my work, and it’s where I find peace and inspiration on daily walks with my golden retriever, April.
My ‘Seascape’ artwork was commissioned by a client that vacationed in Rhode Island. She loved her vacation so much she asked me to paint the view of the harbor for her to gaze at lovingly each day. My ‘Crab’ artwork started out as a concept for an outdoor fabric collection. The design organically became art prints and notecards and one of my best selling design motifs.”
