The story behind this lighthouse is as interesting as the lighthouse itself. Nauset Light was originally one of the twin Chatham Lights, relocated to Eastham in 1923 to replace the old Three Sisters lighthouses and guard the treacherous outer Cape shore. It's been standing watch over the Atlantic ever since — one of the most recognized and photographed lighthouses on Cape Cod.
