"I'm Melissa Hyatt, a surface pattern designer, watercolor artist and mom of two.
Inspired by the sea, rolling waves, lighthouses and the landscapes of the Northeast I've always felt a deep connection to the coast.
After a career in textile design in New York City, I moved to Eastern Long Island to raise my family.
Years later, a watercolor class at my local library opened the door I thought I had closed forever. For the past 12 years, I've been painting, creating, and teaching watercolor workshops.
Please join me in sharing my products and story to celebrate art, inspiration, and the creativity we can all find within."
