Did you know that here are more lighthouses in Suffolk County NY than any other county in the US? This is one of them nicknamed “Bug Light” its’ formal name is Long Beach Bar Light which helps mariners navigate around the hazardous sandbar between Oreint Harbor and Gardiner’s Bay.
