I painted this whale in shades of blue watercolor. Blue is classic and timeless it reminds me of summer. While exploring new coastal creatures to paint I came across the grey whale. Did you know: Instead of a dorsal fin, gray whales have a dorsal hump followed by 9 to 13 bumps along their dorsal ridges. I love his textured skin. He pairs perfectly with my indigo whale print. Perfect for a boys room or on a gallery wall in the living area.
